Bio

The Sound and the Fury (tSanF) will bring you swaying between low, gravely croons, and soul tearing howls that pierce through an earthy acoustic landscape drawn from musical styles as broad as western, singer-songwriter, theater, folk, and early metal.

Influences include Glen Hansard, The Lone Bellow, Lincoln Durham, Black Sabbath, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Shinedown, and more. It’s a broad net that settles uncomfortably, but powerfully, in western/southern gothic tinged acoustic rock.

Performances are as emotive and brash as the songs performed, delivering the stories (true and fiction) and experiences of band leader, Dustin Saksek who has lived in the Seattle area since 2015.

tSanF was established in December, 2023 as the second band created and led by Dustin. In his past project, Sojourn Soul, Dustin played regularly throughout Western Washington, with highlights including sharing the stage with acts like Tobias the Owl, Tyler Edwards, Arthur James, and Heather Edgley, as well as working with Producer Jack Endino.

YUELAN

YUELAN 乐澜 (they/them) is a queer Chinese-American singer-songwriter, pianist, composer, and theatre artist. Through their theatrical doomer lyrics, they depict the struggles of the Gen Z artist - whether it's working under capitalism to survive, burning out under the pressures of modern-day musicianship, or simply being taken over by robots. Blended with classical piano technique on the keytar, alongside a pop/soft rock sound of the drums and bass, YUELAN's sound is dreamy on the surface, but dark beneath.

No Monaco

With a touch of both modern and retro, No Monaco emerges from the vibrant Seattle music scene, weaving together a captivating blend of indie rock and soul. This five-member band draws inspiration from a diverse array of genres, including Motown, Indie, R&B, Funk, and Fusion. Their sound is a harmonious collision of raw energy and soulful melodies.
